Salajõe study trail (1,5 km)
Lääne County, Nõva Recreation Area
On the study trail that runs along the bank of Salajõgi, you can get to know the karst phenomena - the karst forms of Salajõgi were created before the last ice age, more than 13,000 years ago. From the trail, views of the riverbed and sinkholes of Salajõgi open up. They are dry during part of the year, but high water causes the water to flow and creates a karst lake.
